Elementary-level math vocabulary is not only used in the classroom; it is also an essential part of everyday language that helps students describe situations and understand conversations in Korean. Through this course, students will learn basic mathematical concepts and further improve their Korean language skills by solving fun and engaging critical-thinking math problems.
To ensure that students can participate successfully in the class, a brief diagnostic assessment will be given to determine whether they have a basic understanding of fourth-grade-level mathematics. During class, mathematical terms will be presented in both Korean and English to support students’ comprehension.
