We are pleased to announce the 2024 International Korean Education Youth Camp hosted by the Korean Ministry of Education and organized by the International Korean Education Foundation. We look forward to the active participation of middle and high school students studying the Korean language from across the world.

 

Outline

Program: 2024 International Korean Education Youth Camp

Schedule

    - Main Program: Monday, November 18th,2024 – Friday, November 22nd, 2024(On-Site)

     ※ Preliminary Training: Friday November 01st – Sunday November 03rd, 2024(Online)

Location: Hana Global Campus(Cheongna, Incheon, South Korea)

Participants: About 97 Secondary School Students (5 American Students)

Award: Two participants will receive an award from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education. Two participants will receive an award from the Chairman of the National Assembly’s Education Committee.

Preliminary Training

(11.01~03)

 

- Korean Literature Appreciation Presentations (preliminary round)

- Preparatory training on topics such as performances of Korean culture and art.

- Preparation period for the Main Program

- Real-time training(Online, 4-6 hours per day)

- Groups will be divided by levels

Main Program

(11.18~11.22)

Day 1

Korean language assessment, Orientation (group introduction), Safety training, Special lecture on Korean history and culture, Practice for cultural and artistic performance

- Airport greeting

 

Day 2

Korean Literature Appreciation Presentations (Final Round), Specialized Korean language training, K-Food experience, Composing Korean poetry, Auditions for cultural and artistic performances

 

 

Day 3

Korean historical and cultural experience

(Hana Bank tour, Kyongbok Palace, Hangul Museum,

the Namsan Tower)

 

 

Day 4

Awards Ceremony for the Korean Literature Appreciation Presentations, K-POP Audition Program

 

 

Day 5

Comprehensive discussion and satisfaction survey

- Airport send-off

※ The schedule is subject to change. Participants will be notified individually after selection.

※ Program will be conducted in Korean.
