[Heritage Program] 2026 Summer Program

<2026 Summer Korean Heritage Program Registration>

1. Eligibility

  • Students in Kindergarten through 8th grade
    (as of the program start date, Wednesday, June 15, 2026)
  • Students who are able to use the restroom and move between classrooms without assistance from a guardian
    (No supervision or care is provided outside the classroom.)
  • Students who are able to comply with the Student Code of Conduct

2. Registration and Payment

Siblings in one household: Each child must have his or her account (ID).

  • The Education Center is not responsible for any disadvantages resulting from registration under the wrong account, including confusion between siblings’ accounts.

3. Registration Opens

  • Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

4. Program Operation

  • Each class will have approximately 18 students.
  • A class may be canceled if fewer than 10 students register.

5. Important Notes for Korean Language Class Registration

  • Before registering, parents must carefully review the course description and textbook/materials chart, and select a class appropriate for their child’s level.
  • Class change deadline: Tuesday, June 16, 2026
    • Class changes are allowed only if space is available in the requested class.
    • Any additional textbook shipping fees or material fees resulting from a class change must be paid separately.
    • Class changes due to a simple change of mind are not allowed, except when a level adjustment is necessary for placement in the Korean language classes.

6. Distribution of Materials for Online Classes

  • In-person pickup: Monday, June 8, 2026 – Friday, June 12, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Mail delivery: Available only for students who pay the $10 shipping fee per course at the time of registration.
    • Shipping fee waivers are not available.

7. Refund Policy

  • Refund deadline: Wednesday, May 27, 2026
    No refunds or credits will be issued after this date.
  • How to request a refund: By email

    • Refunds will be issued after deducting PayPal processing fees.
    • If a family initiates a PayPal dispute directly, any resulting fees will be the responsibility of the applicant.

8. Additional Notes

  • Snacks and meals: Students may bring a simple lunch and eat in the classroom during the class break.
  • Student pickup: Students must be picked up promptly at the end of class.
    • Students whose pickup is delayed will wait in the Study Abroad Counseling Office on the 2nd floor.
    • No supervision or childcare is provided before or after class.
