Global Leadership Program
KDI School of Public Policy and Management, as the educational arm of the Korea Development Institute (KDI), operates the Global Leadership Program. Each year, the program selects public sector policymakers from various countries to enhance their capacity by addressing global agendas and sharing Korea’s development experience and policy practices. The program aims to strengthen participants’ ability to contribute to economic growth and to drive meaningful change in their respective countries.
Program Overview
- Online Courses: May 7 – June 25, 2026 (KST), Zoom Live Streaming
Covers Korea’s development experience, the G20 agenda, and key global policy topics such as growth and deregulation, trade, energy abundance, and innovation.
- Field Study in Korea: Tentatively scheduled for September 2026
Provides hands-on learning through site visits to key industrial and cultural locations.
Eligibility & Application Details
- Target Participants: Experienced public-sector officials and practitioners engaged in global development or G20-related work (minimum three years of experience).
- Language: The program will be conducted entirely in English (All application materials must be submitted in English.)
